On Thursdays, Saturday and Sunday around the Harbourside right up to the King George memorial fountain you’ll find the Bristol Harbourside Food Market.
Host to numerous independent food stalls, this food market is one of the most well known in Bristol, due largely in part to its location right in the heart of the city but also for the range and quality of food on offer.
Each Thursday afternoon (12pm – 3pm) is ‘Street Food Thursdays‘ at the market. You’ll find numerous local traders offering tasty quick eats inspired by cuisines from around the world.
Pictures speak louder than words, so I’d recommend visiting the Harbourside Market Instagram page for more photos taken by the public. They also have their own Official Harbourside Market Instagram page which is also worth a quick browse.

What Else on Offer?
Gourmet cheeses, homemade quiches, breads, pies, pasties.
The “Harbouside ‘Craft’ Market”
Supporting the Harbourside Food Market are a number of independent craft stalls which offer homemade crafts, jewelry, cookware, art, glassware, flowers, toys, clothing, soaps, pottery, books, together they make up the ‘Harbourside Market’.
It’s a great way to spend the morning/afternoon whatever the weather, there’s always some tasty edible treats for the children and it has the added benefit of being surrounded by the Bristol harbourside bars and restaurants which offer some of the nicest international foods in the city.
There are many top-quality buskers in the area and sometimes the market organizers will put on a stage for bands which all adds a nice ambiance to the area.
